New small lightweight Radio Stand. Professional –grade, designed for Yaesu FT-817 QRP Radio. This stand tilts radio for a better viewing angle and protects radio. Provisions on stands rear tab for common grounding FT-817 to stand. Rubber coated side guides keeps radio from shifting side to side. Protective rubber pads under radio helps protect radio from scratching. Non-slip feet under stand to protect your desktop. Stand also has Battery Case and harness. Battery Case Holds (2) 9.6v AA battery packs like Radio Shack 23-331 or any R/C Battery packs that uses standard Molex connector. Battery Case is vented to keep batteries cool. Switch on rear lets you switch between battery 1 and battery 2. Harness has 1.7mm DC Connector that plugs into FT–817’s rear DC input jack. Harness is fused protected. Batteries can be charged from 1.7mm DC connector without removing batteries from stand. Radio can be operated up to 11 Hours @ 350mA or 8 Hours @ 500mA when using (2) 9.6v 2000mAh batteries. Stop lugging heavy lead acid battery around. FT-817 Radio, stand and (2) 9.6v AA batteries weight less then 3 ½ lbs. One 12v 4Ah battery weights 3 ¾ Lbs. Black in Color.
